Insert Name is no stranger to the Progressive Trance genre. His work on reputable platforms like JOOF, and most recently Black Hole, have given him a well deserved place in the spotlight. For our first release of 2017, Slideways Music is proud to welcome him into our roster as he delivers an epic piece of music called "Liquiphoria". On remix duties we also bring back veteran Alfonso Muchacho and introduce MathOv to our team as well.
Insert Name's original is nothing less than an emotional masterpiece which is richly layered with goose-bump inducing sounds reminiscent of the "good old days". It's melodies and pads reach grand heights which touch on parts of both Trance and Progressive. Crisp snares, hats and claps carry the track as it lifts into well placed arpeggiated stabs and the beautifully captivating breakdown will instantly transport you back to the golden era of Trance. MathOv adds to the collection with a bouncing summer vibe remix with sexy pads and vocal samples to carry the listener into a hypnotic trance. The break leads into soft arpeggiated melody taken over by a gritty horn-like synth which brings us back into a nice simple drop. Overall, this remix is a perfect blend of current Progressive and will be perfect in a club setting or an outdoor party at sunset.
Alfonso Muchacho has simply been on fire over the past year or so. His deep style of progressive has been a welcome addition to this EP as he moulds the original melody into his groovy style of Progressive. His percussion is smooth and chunky with an airy vocal pad carrying the top end. It climaxes into an easy drop which is taken over by thick synth stabs that fade into the original melody. His subtle, yet edgy remix is a perfect blend and is a great addition to your arsenal.
