Chords cascade, blending and reforming, in the warming wonder of 'Still Life', 'Dead Carnation' is from a similar place. Keys skipping down scales, dancing down them as percussion lends a touch of weight. 'Distant' is the mood changer. Rain falls, smoke whirls and the night descends in this dark and intoxicating encounter. But those clouds part for the close.
