Fresh from his recent collab release on John Digweed’s Bedrock imprint, Martin Eyerer returns to Rejected to fly solo and follow up his popular 2015 outing ‘The Metro’ with two fresh productions, ‘Run Stop’ and ‘Troja’. The lead track with its commanding vocal is a hypnotic tech tool with its mesmeric and metronomic beats and shadowy synth chords enticing the listener. Label boss Edwin Oosterwal delivers a more arid take on the original, bringing the vocal to the fore and swelling the beats. Synth chords flourish further on Martin’s ‘Troja’. Its warm purring bass and percussive beats are soon bathed in an enchanting synth melody that lifts us higher and caps another impressive Rejected offering from Eyerer.
