Fresh from a release on Elrow - SR006 comes courtesy of DeMarzo with remixes from some of the scene's hottest talent. The original mix of 'Palmwork' utilizes billowing deep tones, acidic resonating lead synths and DeMarzo's signature groove. Steamy, stuttering fx come into play at the breakdowns, providing a backdrop to the stylish and sedated vocal. The track climaxes with the addition of noisy percussive hits to bring in yet another layer of rhythm.
The first reinterpretation comes from Danish duo Anëk who provide us with a more restrained piece, whilst still retaining a solid groove. Metallic percussion jingles over a bouncing bassline and glowing atmosphere before building with the acidic synths and vocal in the breakdown.
The subsequent version finds Space Ibiza resident Javi Bora take a more party inspired look at the track, with female shouts placed atop a relentless bassline and raw drums. Finally, rising stars Truth Be Told bring the heaviest cut of the four. Punishing drums coupled with an emphatic bassline and TBT's signature percussion techniques make for a real "heads down" remix.
