From the beginning to now, ACID has evolved and changed but the driving hypnotic squelchy baselines immediately take you home. The ACID 88 Album is a compilation of Legends from across the world banging out the nights with ACID TRAX. This album was compiled by DJ Pierre, Acid Creator & Part of the legendary Group ‘Phuture’. It is a largely diverse group of tracks that really dive into the heart of ACID. This album contains two songs from two very legendary ACID artists that have as of the date this release passed on. It is dedicated to these two Men and their life’s dedication to ACID. RIP Andreas Ghem& RIP DJ Spank Spank. These men have 100 of releases between them and we are very fortunate to release one of their last tracks. This album has taken over a year to compile and we we’re very blessed to have retrieved both tracks months in advance. This album is dedicated to the memories of them. On a very personal note, DJ Spank Spank has been a part of the Afro Acid family from the beginning. He’s left a void in our group that we will all just learn to live with out.
