SLP debuts on Igual with the superb two tracker Sick Days which takes us on an in depth journey through the world of tech house.
Sick Days intros with a cool drum fuelled sequence gathers pace when a punchy kick drum is introduced. The drums take on a seemingly tribalistic vibe while setting nicely into the tech house real. A fantastic FM bass comes through and drives the groove brilliantly as various synth sounds join in. On the break we are treated to some nifty synth work which is laced with cool FX and no doubt will whip any floor into a frenzied response. A totally mesmeric groove that is a must have track for sure.
Heart Of The Middle East sets off with a subtle drum fuelled intro that containing an element of tribalism. The ethnic vibe is evident and manifests through a fantastic hypnotic voice as well as rich instruments. The bassline holds no bounds here and simply dominates the track with a powerfully deep and warming groove. On the break we see much more of the ethnic elements that give the track some colourful textures. An excellent slice of tech you do not want to miss.
