ALiVE head honcho Tom Budden steps up to the plate once more with the ‘Losing Control EP’. Appropriately enough, title track ‘Losing Control’ kicks things off, its aim squarely on the dance-floor with a piercing staccato riff and bubbling bass line line. ‘Holeshot’ delves somewhat deeper but no less effective with spacial effects and driving percussion whilst Oli Furness provides his own sleeker take on ‘Losing Control’, adding a piano stab and more expansive vocal sample to provide a nice counter point to the original.
