Ilya Santana originates from the Canary Islands (Spain). He started to discover his passion for music 20 years ago, while his father was listening to Alan Parson, Vangelis and Giorgio Moroder amongst others. 15 years ago he started DJ'ing around all the clubs in Gran Canaria. Not long after that he started producing his own stuff. His first release was on Balihu, Daniel Wang's label. In the meantime he also released records on Tirk, Permanent Vacation and Gomma, and remixed artists like Human League, The Phenomenal Handclap Band, Lindstrom...

After ‘Burning Jupiter’ - his debut release for Eskimo earlier this year, that was supported by everyone from Agoria over Kenny Hawkes to the usual suspects such as Justus Köhncke, Rub N Tug and Pete Herbert - we’re proud to announce the follow-up. Again the ‘Erin’ EP showcases perfectly why we wanted him so much to join the Eskimo family.

This EP is dedicated to his first child, as ‘Erin’ is the name of his freshly born daughter. Congrats Ilya!!
