With Marco Tegui's EP "Acid Rain", the long awaited second installment of the Berlin label MöhreRekorder reaches us just in time for festival season. The title track of the rather deep and languorous appearing EP of the Peruvian artist shines through its heavy hi-hats and its usage of acid-elements, to which the title itself is already hinting. "Teurel", arisen in collaboration with Nightvision, impressively picks up this imaginative tonality, appearing even more spherical than his predecessor due to its warm and soft synthie groove. And even if "303 Love", a co-operative work with Canadian artist Jeff Gold, follows the same guideline, its stronger groove and pace thus adds a bit more drive towards the end of the release. Setting the perfect closure then is the remix of Mario Aureo, giving "303 Love" the final touch for dancefloor usage.
