Something is bubbling in Rotterdam. Longtime event and more recent label Blendits Audio have already arrived at their 14th instalment continuing an impressive streak of releases. Belgian duo M-Zine & Scepticz step up to the plate returning to their Dutch home base with the 4 track spanning Play EP.
Their technically adequate sound that brought them to labels such as Dispatch and 31 again has a strong presence throughout this varied yet vigorous release. The Play EP consists out of precisely timed drum patterns, ominous soundscaping and cinematic tones. On Singularity and Consonance the boys team up with fellow Belgian producers M-Soul, S-27 and Larigold. The EP's title track and Glimpsed are solo efforts.
