The Fatoumata Duo, is an artistic partnership between two producers :
Pierre, passionate musician (piano and sax) and Tim (DJ), sharing a common passion for House Music and early Club culture classics.
They started in 2011, making funky edits & remixes from famous tracks from Feder to Gregory Porter. This leads them to play on stages such as Wanderlust, Nuba, Titty Twister, The machine of the Moulin Rouge or the Carré Coast Biarritz, alongside Jamie Jones, Riva Starr, Mario Aureo, Mayan Nidam, Dean Demanuelle, Djebali or Anek, to name a few.
Combining influences as diverse as jazz, funk, soul, but also artists such as Gill Scott Heron or Stan Getz, Fatoumata shows a universe of African prints supported by warm pulsations that seduce us ingrown by two giraffes.
With their Parisian experience and the combination of their musical origins, they today enter the Voyeur Music crew, with their first EP named "Tanzania", travels between raw sounds, percussions and intoxicating rhythm. To spice all this, the Hypnotic Juan & Ibiza regular David Crops brings alternative remixes to the pack.
You guessed it, Fatoumata conveys the vibrations of mixed African continent & the modern soul of Parisian cool clubs. Let s go wild !
