Eddie Silverton & Jeff Bennett's Lounge Experience

Deeplay Music
DPLAY AMZ1 | 2010-06-18
LOUNGE PROJECT from JEFF BENNETT Jeff previously released a lounge project on Deeplay back in 2005 in the pseoudonym of Jeff Bennett s Lounge Experience (JBLE) and now it s time for the follow up album. But now he upgraded his name to Eddie Silverton and the style takes on where he left with his loungy/chilly/dubby tingled relaxed mood style music. Eddie Silverton's music can be found at all corners of the world, from Luxory hotels, SPA's, Branding project's to Cafa©'s and over 250 compilations worldwide. A handful of well known names would be: Ceasars Palace (Las Vegas), Ritz Carlton (Las Vegas), Nokia, Universal, EMI + many many more. The main difference from the previous album is that this one is more vocal based which also gives it a broader feeling. He invited five different vocalists, each of them with their individual character. One of them is Alexandra Hamnede, known from the works with the Scandinavian acts Bliss and Physics. The sound of this album is without any doubt Dub/Reggae blended with modern electronic sounds all melted down to a mish-mash of the typical Eddie Silverton sound called nu-dub (smiley) Names that come into mind as his greatest inspirational heroes are Thievery Corporation, Gotan Project and Lee Perry. >From the JBLE album we licensed his music to over 50 compilations world-wide (Cafa© del Mar, Hed Kandi and Ministry Of Sound). Jeff Bennett is a tech house / minimal guy with over 100 single releases and two albums. Started producing/DJing in 1994 releasing his first record in 1999 he has over 14 years of experience. Labels attached to Jeff are Poker Flat, Plastic City, Treibstoff, Global Undergound, Kickin, King Fu, Manual Music + many many more.
