Spens MuthaFunkaz Get You Up Mix, starting with the standard 4/4 intro that builds into gurgling percussions, snappy organs & bass, intertwined with Irvin Madden razor sharp guitar set the stage for Yvonne opening verse. Juke Joints Original Mix is replete with a dense, meaty kick drum and insistent percussion and a prominent elastic bassline that seems to court Yvonne gliding intro ad libs. Inventive keyboard sounds, layered sustained strings that support the chorus without overpowering it.
