Dubais iconic audio tonic brand is on the cusp of celebrating 10 years of establishment, and next up on the label their 35th release encompasses the true sound of now.
The combined release output of all the artists involved with AT035 is substantial, with the original mixed crafted by the collaboration of Egyptian born now based in Barcelona Raxon, and the Belgian disco synth duo of Spirit Catcher. Their releases on Culprit, Noir, Cecile, My Favorite Robot, Gruuv, Pets Recordings and 2020 Vision to name a large handful make clear their intentions. Traffiq is a masterful dose of sub bottom end and crafted synth work, squeaks, beeps, squelches and signature sounds of both Raxon & Spirit Catcher. Throw in the addictive percussive framework and youve got a track ready for true dance floor deviance.
Next up the remix, and with the likes of Noir Music, Suara, Knee Deep In Sound, Great Stuff and Tretmuehle using his production prowess to represent their labels, Olivier Giacomotto is riding a rolling electronic wave. His rework incorporates THE famous Giacomotto bass line we have all grown to love, and most importantly recognise as his true signature. Taking the track down the darker realms OG turns out a remix worthy of note, and one we hope (and know) will be throwing hands into the air across the globe this summer and for years to come!
