Knife Silhouette

Hazylujah

Delsin Records
DSR-E6 | 2015-07-13
It's been a while since Delsin help launch the career of Italian producer Hazylujah, but now the two are back in action. Massimiliano Vianello debuted on this label back in 2011 and has since appeared on Media Fury, and here he comes correct with two more raw and jacking experimental house tracks.

The first, 'Knife Silhouette' is a bumping house affair with cosmic bursts of slithering synths roaming about above tough bass stabs, lo-fi percussion and distorted sine waves. Next up is the weird and wonderful arrangement that is 'Inform to Resist', a tense brew of jumping drums, bright synths, mangled machine nosies and frazzled textures. Muffled vocals are buried deep in the mix and the whole thing is a thoroughly abstract, ravey affair. Few tracks sound as abrasive and in your face as this, and for that reason they once again prove Hazylujah is in a class of his own.
