The long awaited debut of Trample Records features a brand new single from Rick Pier O'Neil. The newly formed Lithuanian imprint looks to showcase the finest in contemporary techno music from all over the globe. For their inaugural release Trample Records welcomes the much loved Rick Pier O'Neil to the label. The French producer has been a favourite of electronic music fans dating back almost 15 years to his productions on RPO Traxx and Garbage Records. Rick has enjoyed a resurgence over the last year having released several amazing projects with outings on John OO Fleming's JOOF Records and Micheal, Levan and Stiven Rivic's Kunai Records and Mistique Music being the most notable. Rick's debut single for Trample Records is entitled 'Nailscraper' and it comes in two dance floor destroying versions from the man himself.

The release gets underway with 'Part 1' which showcases what has made Rick Pier O'Neil such a popular producer over the years; tough chugging beats, dark rhythms and a foreboding atmosphere which keeps your attention at its peak. Rick's rolling waves of bass carve out an incredible foundation which is both powerful and hypnotic, while his meticulously tailored electronics and granular design is a true delight for the senses. The main break may be one of Rick's finest moments with a backdrop of sweeping effects and a charged climax delivering what is sure to be a huge moment on the dance floor. 'Part 2' offers a more stripped down and even funkier approach with a spacious groove and waves of gated effects leading the charge. The main break again is a focal point with a calculated build that develops over a tension filled two minute stretch. The end result is another huge moment where the rumbling groove and tough beats return to take you further into the darkness. Two monster tracks from Rick which not only go down as the best of his career but also get Trample Records off to an amazing start.
