Vasiliki Karagiorgos (born in Darwin, Northern Territory) simply known for her stage name Vassy is an Australian singer-songwriter.[1] Vassy, whose parents are both Greek immigrants (from Florina),[2] was discovered in 2003 after winning Australian radio station Triple J's Unearthed talent contest.[3][4] Her single "We Are Young" reached the top of Billboard?'?s Hot Dance Club Songs.[5]
