New Zealand producer Ditto, delivers a heavy bass line driven monster! "Lately" is an uppity house track, peppered with snappy percussion parts, classic style chord work, and a throbbing bass line. The percussion adds a sweet shuffle to the drums, and add a face-paced feel to the rhythmic aura of the track. Down low the bass melody is full, distinct, forceful and inescapable. Across the top some ethereal-type modulating pad work plays out, and some gorgeous chord stabs and flourishes complete the mix which flows together strong to induce movement.

Next up, Julien Loreto creates a stripped back minimalistic dub. His version of "Lately" has an exposed, raw jackin' flavour who's brute force is felt between kick and clap. The bass sucks in and out to create a constant resonating rumble. Subtle fill work adds character to the sparse plane, while giving this track a dark and mysterious undertone.

Five Foot Short take their remix into a warmer place and their deep house remix is a groovy incantation. This remix has nice wide evolving synth work gliding over a groovy bass line, and features some cool fill work that provides an uplifting vibe to this perfect summer jam.

Ditto's "Three Times" is a sharp, movin' and groovin' house jam with a dark edge. It's driving force is its thick and bouncy house groove that sets the vibe. Multi layered synth work is responsible for creating a sense of breathing movement as the synth parts swash across the canvas. Down low, the tame woody bass line gets things rolling, then morphs into a growling beast.
