Munich-based Portuguese producer Alkalino has previously impressed with a swathe of disco, boogie and Balearic edits, and a handful of original house productions. It's the latter strand of his work that he revisits here, dropping a heavily electronic chunk of fizzing deep house in the shape of 'Movimento'. It gently builds in an impressive manner, with the gradual introduction of ever-more melodious elements (swirling chords, crystalline strings etc) as the track progresses. Finnish producer Plagia handles the virtual flipside, delving deeper into shiny, Balearic-inspired tech-house territory with the bluesy 'Can't Stop This Feeling'. In addition to some hazy melodies, it also features some high quality percussive builds.
