Kalim Shabazz & Nick Jones have been mainstays in the NY underground house movement dating back to the early 90’s. Kalim made his mark with his highly respected “Afterlife” party, which, at its inception, was one of very few venues playing soulful house music in NY. Nick Jones has contributed as a DJ as well as a producer, under the artist name “Soul Movement”. Kalim and Nick both continue to produce and DJ in NY, and internationally. Together, Kalim Shabazz and Nick Jones have collaborated to create Moments of Soul. “The Life EP” is the third edition in a three part EP series from Moments of Soul: “The Love EP”, “The Live EP” and “The Life EP”.
