Whistleblower Records are pleased to reveal the release of ‘Pale Ale’, the debut release from label honcho Rhymos and the first release on the label. With previous releases on Murmur and Catwash, Rhymos now turns to his efforts towards Whistleblower, a new joint label venture with Reset Robot, Alan Fitzpatrick and Con Fraser.
Mutton Chop and Pale Ale are solid 303 groovers that focus heavily towards the dance floor. Rhymos’s passion for acid is easily translated through these tracks. Pampi Michi takes a diverse approach to House/Techno with a leftfield vibe, big sawtooth bassline rolls alongside a cheeky Acid pattern.
Straight off the back of his superb version of Marcel Fenglers 'Trespass' , Aubrey (Ostgut Ton, Skudge, Theory) steps up for the remix duties on Pale Ale, and a fine job he does too. A great slice of deep techno trippiness. We feel this mix really rounds off the package for Whistleblower debut offering, Enjoy!
