Another cracking EP from Mario Fabriani, this time out on Nightshift. 'Release' is first up, blending spacey effects, chunky house beats, stabbing guitar licks, textured analog chords, and a snaking funky bassline into a solid peaktime floor pleaser. '65th Street Hustle' takes the mood a little deeper, with the beats still fairly chunky, but this time joined by warm chords, a muted jazzy sax line, a deep bassline, and tight beats. 'Ascension' closes proceedings with more quality deep house, following the formula laid down by it s b-side counterpart, utilizing slicing beats, dubby vocals and synth stabs, and fluid bassline for more late night floor action .
