In September 2025 Snick Snack Music in collaboration with Zen Feedbacker released a monumental package of material from the legendary Norwegian queer, post punk and electronic pioneers Sadomaoistan, in form of the two albums Terror Incognita and Retroskopi. With material from the bands early no wave and industrial period compiled for the first time in Terror Incognita and a reworked version of the bands only official album, the dark magnum epos Retroskopi from 1997. Remastered and redesigned by Lasse Marhaug, the albums finally told the story of a neglected and important part of Norwegian queer culture and electronic music history.

Now founding member Halvard Haldorsen has asked his contemporaries from the Norwegian electronic underground in the early nineties, and his peers from the current international scene to rework material from the albums. EP 2 picks up where EP 1 left of with remixes by some of the most influential producers from the experimental and club scene, affirming Sadomaoistan’s place in a long tradition of trailblazing Norwegian experimental music.
