Artist and Track Information:
4. Artist Quote:
* Track/EP Backstory: We made this track as an anthem for people who really want to Both tracks in this EP are a blend of Trance/Hard Techno, which is a bit different from what we normally do, so it made sense to stick them together.
* Why the title? The title naturally came from the track's lyrics, but it also reflects our desire for you to be able to sort of suspend time and just be in the moment when listening.
* What it makes you feel? Adrenalized, Uplifted
5. Describe Main Track:
* Press Release: N/A
* Artist Bio: Version 34 is a rising producer/DJ duo out of Tuerkiye helping reshape the Hard Techno/Neo-Rave movement. With their tracks earning support from the biggest names in the game (I Hate Models, 999999999, Nico Moreno, AZYR, Charlie Sparks, Shlomo, Nicolas Julian, etc.), Version 34 have become one of Hard Techno's most-supported breakout artists of 2025.
Their production? Think thunderous kicks, raw 303 acid lines, and dystopian synths, all laced with a little early hardstyle nostalgia. Throw in the fact that all their standout tracks have been made with minimal equipment- just some Grade A headphones and a laptop- and you've got a real testament to their talent and hard work.
Another thing that truly sets Version 34 apart is their ability to craft DJ sets made up mostly of their own tracks - turning each performance into a showcase of their identity. With high-energy releases and a deep, driving set style, they bring a relentless yet danceable force to the booth.
Whether you're a techno purist or just rave-curious, Version 34 is a name to remember; the future of rave might just have a Turkish accent.
* Artist Backstory: Version 34 is made up of Ozan and Tolga, both born and raised in Istanbul. Their shared love of music began young, fueled by trance music. They met around 2013, became close friends, and spent a lot of time raving together.
A 2014 Hardwell concert in Istanbul reignited their passion for EDM. Tolga traveled around Turkey working as a DJ throughout 2015, and eventually both he and Ozan began to teach themselves production. Ozan released some solo EDM tracks in 2018 under the name Ozan Karabaki, and the following year, Tolga moved to South Korea looking for a change.
In 2020, the duo came together as Synthsons, focusing on EDM and Hardstyle, casually releasing a few tracks and playing some shows. After Ozan completed his military service, he joined Tolga in South Korea, continuing his work as a model/actor while still making music.
It wasn't until 2022 that the duo launched Version 34 as techno artists, initially inspired by a love of Peak Time techno. This is when the duo began to fully recognize their talent and get serious about their future in the industry. They followed the early wave of hard techno and steadily increased their BPMs while producing and playing shows around South Korea.
In 2023, Ozan returned to Turkey, so the two are now split geographically, but it's turned out to be an advantage. Ozan handles Turkey and the surrounding areas, while Tolga puts their stamp on Asia. They continue to produce together virtually. Although they absolutely love DJ'ing, Version 34's main focus continues to be on high-quality production, with the ultimate goal of playing a set made entirely of their own tracks at a top tier festival such as Verknipt. And with the amount of success they've seen throughout 2025, it looks like that could be sooner than expected.
