Heels of Love opens another chapter of its catalog with Moog Talk, the label's fifth release, signed by Gabi Fischer. The EP unfolds like a tale woven through its five tracks - Weary, Weary Pt II, Moog Talk, Cravings, and Locked In - shifting across different moods while maintaining a strong and well-defined identity.

A Rio de Janeiro native now based in Sao Paulo, Gabi Fischer is a DJ and music producer who began her journey in 2020 after completing her studies at the Catalyst Institute in Berlin. Since then, she has made her mark on the global scene as a versatile artist, exploring the multiplicity of her references both in the studio and behind the decks. With releases on labels such as Subliminar, The Basement Discos, Bliss Records, and Cocada, Gabi brings to her music a mosaic of influences that span from Yellow Magic Orchestra, Casiopea, and Boards of Canada to Swayzak, Paul Oakenfold, Ricardo Villalobos, and Thievery Corporation.

In Weary, Gabi blends danceable yet hypnotic moments with synth layers that fit together in a minimalist interplay infused with shades of Deep Tech. The atmosphere gains density in Weary Pt. II, diving into a more introspective bassline, but with contrasts in synth tones that add a playful twist to the track.

Moog Talk, which gives the EP its name, reveals a sublime charm in its melodic details. The lead synth, which sets the tone from the very start, ties delicacy into the arrangement, especially as it intertwines with the progression of other elements, enhancing the emotion and immersive feel throughout the musical narrative.

Tension builds with Cravings, one of the densest tracks on the EP. Drawing closer to Techno and with an old-school appeal in its drum elements, the track proves perfect for more imposing and contemplative moments. The story closes with Locked In, where the atmosphere opens back up into more reflective melodies and layered textures that evoke a sense of inner journey and timeless drift.
