Kinnego presents the third release by Lynn & McConville. Named after a quiet spot along the southern shore of Lough Neagh, "Otter Beds" captures both a sense of place and a spirit of collaboration.
The short album was born from live sessions on guitar, block flute and drums, with the raw energy of performance serving as the foundation. Later shaped and refined with overdubs in the duo's home studios, the record preserves the spark of improvisation while adding new textures to the mix.
What emerges is a sound that is improvised and expansive yet focused. Drawing on the hypnotic repetition of horizontal Motorik grooves and the uplifting currents of the spiritual jazz we all love, the result is music that feels simultaneously exploratory, grounded, and deeply human.
