Amaeo presents Sacred Loop, a two-track EP from Istanbul-based Gaia Ekho, featuring a collaboration with Kiev-born producer Komilev. The release highlights Gaia’s blend of academic musical training and instrumental skills with Komilev’s bold electronic sound. The first track, Twister (Gaia Ekho & Komilev), pairs Gaia’s airy vocals with heavy synth drops and distorted textures. Organic percussion cuts through, creating a striking contrast between acoustic warmth and powerful electronic layers. Komilev’s experience and forward-thinking approach give the track its driving energy. The title track Sacred Loop focuses on groove and immediacy with stabby chords, vocal chops, and Gaia’s own voice woven into the arrangement. Her background in piano and cello, along with years of formal music studies, shapes the melodic detail and expressive flow of the track. With Sacred Loop, Gaia Ekho continues to expand her artistic voice, while the collaboration with Komilev shows the strength of combining distinct musical perspectives
