BrokenHearted continues its 2025 schedule with the arrival of YA:NZ and IZRAELL, who come together for their label debut, Passenger. Out September 19th, the release features two distinct cuts that highlight the duo's shared commitment to late-night techno narratives and melodic intensity.

Formed by Yoatzín Rodríguez and Antonio Padilla, Mexico City-based YA:NZ have been steadily carving their place in the melodic techno landscape. With roots in their independent imprint Erkunde Music, the project has become known for energetic productions marked by powerful melodies and undeniable dancefloor weight. Joining them is IZRAELL, a producer whose approach merges deep, emotional atmospheres with strong techno frameworks, constructing hypnotic spaces where basslines and synths guide the listener into pure trance states.

The title track Passenger leads the release with a firm hand. Built on tightly-woven drums and sharp, otherworldly synth textures, the track takes a stripped yet forceful approach. Its direct techno groove leaves no space for excess, focusing on rhythm and drive. Futuristic tones and space-like sequences emerge as the structure unfolds, creating an atmosphere that feels both mechanical and alien. A functional weapon, made for the late hours when the dancefloor locks into its deepest flow.

Closing the release, Agate introduces a different perspective. Drawing from progressive roots, it blends rolling house percussion with groovier, harder edges. Labyrinthine vocal fragments echo in the distance while a commanding synth line leads the way forward. The result is a track that pushes tension in layers, moving between groove and melody with a hypnotic pull.

With Passenger and Agate, YA:NZ and IZRAELL deliver a two-track showcase that embodies BrokenHearted's forward-thinking ethos: music that is stripped yet evocative, direct yet immersive, and always crafted with the floor in mind.
