Reverse Rituals VA (Compiled by Haptic)
Reverse Rituals is a conceptual compilation created in reverse as part of a creative process/experiment in the creative process.
Initiated with the creation of the track titles and artwork, each producer was provided with a short video, who then used the artwork and video as their inspiration to create the tracks they felt suit the imagery and title.
Each set of conceptual artwork and video was assigned to two producers, delivering two versions of each track, and eight tracks in total.
Our resident shamanic monster Haptic was heavily involved in development of the titles, the artworks, the videos and consulted throughout the process, in additional creating a unique pack of 20 ritual-based samples that the producers were encouraged to use in their tracks.
