Lissy lives and breathes dance music culture; whether that be UK festivals, London’s notorious afterhours scene or summers on the dancefloors of Ibiza. Initially, this led to the pursuit of a career in music journalism. However, this alone didn’t satisfy her itch. Her growing infatuation naturally progressed to dabbling on the decks at after parties or with friends, but it wasn’t until she invested in her own that things really took off. Bookings at Amnesia Ibiza, Hï Ibiza’s Wild Corner and Londons coveted 93 Feet East would follow later the same year. Suddenly a new career path was becoming a reality. Musically, Lissy has varied tastes across the spectrum, and considers herself as comfortable at a grime gig and she does getting lost in the rave. When it comes to playing out, her sound leans into the Tech House and Minimal wave of her urban surroundings, with regular nods to Latin House. She takes particular inspiration from labels such as Cecille, Mood Child, LTF and more… Never limiting herself to a narrow box, her sets also feature diversions to Classic House all the way across to Deep Tech. She’ll go wherever the mood takes her. With two solid releases under her belt including one on the legendary Nervous Records, though she’s still very much in the nascent stage of her DJ career, Lissy has a thirst to go all the way!
