We have been a fan of Ridney's work since his late 00s anthems with James Talk. In the last couple of years we have been collaborating closely with him as an A&R and working towards a single for us. We spent a lot of time sending each other ideas and we ended up working together on this one.

'Booty' started out as a raw Cajual/Relief style cut'n'paste groove with Ridney sampling the vocals from Parris Mitchell's Dance Mania classic 'Ghetto Booty'. I brought in a second vocal hook and got the Rickenbacker out to add some French touch to the bass. After sorting out the sample with the lovely Mr. Mitchell himself, we are all set to go.
