Verloren—the German word for "Lost"— begins with the familiar pulse of a house beat, drawing listeners into an initial sense of ease and celebration. But beneath this seemingly upbeat exterior, there lies a darker undertone. Just as people gather to celebrate, tragedy can strike, turning what was meant to be a time of happiness into one of sorrow and loss. This is a poignant reminder of all those tragedies that happened during music festivals and events, meant to be joyful moments, turned into tragedies. Just like in life, where things can change in an instant. Some of the sounds used are the classic noises that can be heard inside clubs and those sampled in iconic locations, such as the Rambla in Barcelona and in clubs theaters of tragedies. Suddenly, these familiar sounds turn into screams of fear, gunfire, and blood. Death silences it all. The voices of journalists overlap chaotically, each scrambling to deliver the most gripping news— more like a competition for attention than a somber reportage of death.
