It's been a minute since we've had Sven Kerkhoff on the label. 2021's big-charting, DJ-friendly classic house of "Hear The Music" is our last collab. That said, we're big fans of his classic house sound; it's no wonder that top-drawer labels like Nervous and Henry Street have featured his slow-burning beats. "Need You" began life as a demo that Sven and fellow Germany-based producer Nuray Alkan sent to Kevin McKay. He loved the ideas in it so much, he got involved. The resulting collaboration has touches of Kerkhoff's influences (DJ Tonka, Ian Pooley), Nuray's love of classic house and Kevin's loopy 90s cut-ups (it's giving us serious "Don't Turn Your Back On Me" vibes!) So, if disco-fuelled 90s deepness is your thing, this is for you!
