We're delighted to bring you our third Habitual compilation album, brought to you by an array of exceptionally talented artists.
We open up the album with our Giddy remixes Land Mammal's track 'Oceana'. A mesmerisingly cinematic, ambient take on the original, once again featuring Mrs LM on vocals. A track that one could enjoy endlessly during a chill out session and wouldn't complain if this was another 10 mins longer! Drifting and meandering its way along with real purpose and conviction. Giddy has really stepped up his game here.
Don Longton is most welcome on the label once again with a quality remix of JodaCode's' Tapestry of Life' feat. Skyline Tigers. Don's deep , dark. enigmatic approach works so well here. His slow breaks remix is sure to capture many a DJ to perhaps open an early set.
We're thrilled to have Erik Bruce back on the label with a quite outstanding remix of Land Mammal's 'Lucid'. A sumptuous pad glides you along all the way excelling those dopamine levels ten fold! Shades of old school elements blend harmoniously with the original bass notes to form a remix of genuine listening pleasure.
Downgrooves makes it onto another release due to his ever so consistent output. Taken from his latest album with us 'Beyond the Infinite', we decided to re-release 'Machine Intelligence'. As Eric's album was so good we feared this one may not have had sufficient exposure.
We're delighted that Nitetales releases a second time with us, this time with his remix of Land Mammal's 'Lucid'. Such an interesting take from the original, the dark sub bass, vocals and significant booming broken breaks stand this track apart. Adding to the darkness the arpeggiated rhythmical elements and synth lead complete an exhilarating 4 and a half minutes.
With his remix of 'Moonwatcher' Giddy demonstrates his ability once again to deconstruct an original track and build it ultra creatively. Broken beats take the fore once the original elements are well tuned in to each other to get the track going. The original's rhythmical elements sustain the journey with lush harmonic vocals surrounding the sphere creating an all round hedonistic experience.
Land Mammal UK contributes to the album with his original track 'Smithereens' . Opening up he uses delayed percussive elements before a dark sub bass introduces itself with real prominence. We continue to hear the tribal percussion until we get to the break to the alluring sound of acoustic guitar vibes.
The track builds before the drop where we hear a crescendo where hell breaks loose.
To complete the album we release Grizzberg's debut track 'An Imagined Order'.
We seem it fitting to end with a track that could be the most emotive song on the album. The track takes its time to build nice and slowly .
Acoustic guitars, piano, Gregorian and female vocals and strings take their turn to come to the fore and create a journey to perhaps provoke the listener to reflect on a deeper level of life.
We really hope you enjoy the album!
