William Arist and Jon Hester collaborate on Participation 009, delivering no-nonsense percussive grooves. ‘Maze’ gets things started with a serious low-end cadence and swells of energy along the way. ‘Route’ pushes further on an uptempo drive punctuated by rising synths and uplifting pads.

Berlin-based Midwest American Jon Hester started his Participation label for solo work and collaborations with fellow underground talents. His own works have been released on the likes of Klockworks, Tresor, and Rekids, to name a few, establishing his signature sound with warmth, groove, and soul.

Based in Montevideo, Uruguay, William Arist has made a name for himself with music released on numerous labels of note including Mutual Rytm, Truncate, Frenzy, Planet Rhythm, Mind Medizin, and his own Perseverancia label. His contemporary grooves have found their way to the ears of discerning dance floors worldwide as his star continues to rise.
