Hello World! This is the birth of the new record label straight from Berlin-based AVA Club, and reflects the origin sound of the dark club nights! Diving in the fog and getting scattered by flashlights is what we all miss so much, so we’ll come up with some driving tunes centered by Techno. Expect a mix of renowned artists, talented newcomers and of course our beloved residents. The first impact comes in shape of an 8-track compilation by artists of the club’s surrounding, presenting a floor-ready Techno sound in several facets. We are opening the squad with „Last Alarm“ by Italian act Dario Sorano, who already collaborated with Richie Hawtin on Plus8 Records. A speedy-modeling 303-line dominates this track which definitely aims to the floors. The next two tracks are contributed from our resident base. While Distant Sun scores with a dubby touch of raw and analogue modulated sounds in „Deserted“, Victor Kampf teams up with Ivision for a heavily stomping nightcrawler called „Blablacar“. Slightly different to his usual releases comes across Bee Lincoln surprises with the massively rotating „Airy“ containing distorted and industrial elements. „Ruby“ is another peak time tune including energetic synths, created by Magnetic Field Berlin resident Cherry Core. Resident DJ and producer Behrooz Moosavi provides „Decaying Future“ and strikes with a dark view on tomorrow’s world, catching up with apocalyptic sounds for and immediate dance. De Feo, who recently released on Florian Meindls Flash Recordings, builds madly modulating acid bleeps to the „Pattern Group“ which is also the name of the track. Last but not least, Portuguese artist Xminder convinces in „Frontier“ with epic and spheric synth strings, and marks a perfect match for the end of a glorious night as well as for closing for this compilation! AVA001 is on fire.
