Angelica de No and Torre & Lords collaborate on blazing afro house cover of Blondie's 'Call Me''

I have been a huge Blondie fan for ages. There is something incredible about how Debbie Harry represented women in a very male driven genre like punk rock.It was very important to me that what Torre & Lords and I brought to the vibe was a balance of old and new. Their interpretation and production truly found that balance and complemented the reimagined vocal perfectly.' Angelica de No

OBA Frank Lords (Francisco Martin) was born in Havana, Cuba, and raised in Little Havana, Miami, where he discovered percussion at age 10. His passion for music led him to work at T.K. Records, where he contributed to the #1 Disco hit 'Miami Heat Wave.'

In the mid-80s, he co-founded Secret Society, gaining recognition with 'We Belong Together.' He later formed LatinXpress, blending Afro-Cuban rhythms with dance music, producing Billboard-charting hits like 'Descarga' and 'Chango.' Collaborating with MURK (Oscar G & Ralph Falcon), he co-created the #1 Billboard hit 'Dark Beat (Addicted to Drums)', cementing his legacy in Miami's electronic scene.

DJ & Producer Carlos Torre has had a deep-rooted passion for electronic music since age 10. Guided by OBA FRANK LORDS from the age of 19, he honed his production skills and explored new sonic landscapes.
