Stepping up, stepping in. eatmybeat's head chef and culinary tastemaker. After 10 years of running the label, Kemikali serves his debut EP titled 'Hypothesise This', drawing from his lyrical roots and combining hip-hop, grime and poetry. His style fuses conscious storytelling with battle rap energy, delivered with lyrical dexterity and witty wordplay. Kemikali is a true student of the culture, spreading love and good vibes through his passion for music and words.
Introducing the EP is 'Rap Habits', a lo-fi cut which explores backstory, challenges and future prospects, urging the community to unite and grow stronger together. Then we have 'Flavours', the first of 2 tracks produced by EMB veteran Depf. This one is a wavey, grimey number, which infectious flows and plenty patterns. Following up is 'Reminisce', a reflection on his earliest club nights that paved the way to becoming an artist. Wrapping up is 'Most High', a poetic tale about seizing opportunities, exploring themes of divinity and spiritual growth - featuring the delicious Claire Cocoa on the vocal.
'Hypothesise This' drops 28th February, just after his birthday. If you're looking for a present, look no further ?
