During my first visit to Tashkent, capital city of Uzbekistan and former Silk Road, I recorded these tracks during a three week stay, including field recordings. I was overwhelmed by different languages, different soundscapes, different smells, different atmospheres. All this shaped the creation of the recordings you'll hear. I invite you to experience my first impressions of Central Asia through these sounds.
