Martians, a.k.a. King DJ and DJ Bobby E., are back again, after the succes of Bonitos a couple of years ago, and remixes for Kitsun a.o. This one is a very summery track with vocals by Domenicko, another Belgian, who previously recorded with Jo Bogaert (a.k.a. Technotronic), Arsenal and Robert Wyatt a.o., and whom you might know from the track he did with King DJ last year. It's quite poppy. Why, it's almost a real song. The fusing together of popsongs and dancemusic - this being 2013, I'm sure you know what we're talking about.
First up there's the NY Acid mix, though, because we suspect this one is the most interesting for most Regalia enthousiasts, being mostly underground dj's. King DJ got busy with a TB-303, and took influences from "traditional" deep acid tracks and DFA-ish punkfunk stuff mainly. It's intense. Going, going, gone...
The original comes in a short and a long version, a system you might have encountered before.
