“Vacuus” is a minimalist and dark sonic journey that invites deep reflection on the concept of emptiness. Through six carefully arranged tracks, Structur explores the duality between the physical and the emotional, capturing emptiness in all its manifestations. Inspired by the industrial textures of Asturias, where the artist works, the album reflects the human disconnection in a mechanized environment.

The concept of emptiness may seem paradoxical: an absence that is nonetheless full of meaning. In the physical realm, it is an elusive state, the total absence of matter, a space without occupants. Emotionally, it evokes feelings of loneliness, loss and melancholy, becoming a metaphor for deep states of introspection, mourning or even depression. And metaphysically, emptiness leads us to question the vastness of the universe, the meaning of life and the nature of death. Each of these meanings resonates throughout the album, creating a work that is at once abstract and deeply human.

Musically, Structur builds this journey using a minimalist and textured approach, where sound design takes center stage. Industrial sounds, influenced by the industrial environment of Asturias and the artist's own experience working in a factory, merge with layers of darkness and tension. The tracks do not follow a traditional structure, without clear melodies, letting textures, mechanical rhythms and distant echoes generate a soundscape that envelops the listener in an introspective atmosphere. Through the absence of melody and the adoption of a more abstract approach, the album conveys the disconnection and emptiness that the industrial environment can generate, reflecting a dehumanized society that turns humans into machines.

Each track on “Vacuus” is designed to express a different form of emptiness, leading the listener through a variety of mental states. From cold detachment to the vastness of the cosmos, from emotional isolation to philosophical reflection, Structur creates a narrative that changes with each new sound. This approach does not seek to provide answers, but rather to invite the listener to find their own meaning in the void, to reflect on what this empty space represents to them.

The duality between the physical and the mental, the concrete and the abstract, becomes the central axis of “Vacuus”. The album is a sonic reflection of an increasingly mechanized world, where emptiness can be felt both in the environment and inside people. Each raw sound and mechanical rhythm is designed to resonate not only in the ears, but also in the mind, generating a sense of emptiness that goes beyond what words can express.

In its essence, “Vacuus” is an exercise in pure abstraction, where each track offers a new perspective on emptiness and where sound design is the tool to explore its multiple dimensions. Without being explicit, Structur leaves each listener to draw their own conclusions, creating a deeply personal experience that will resonate differently with each individual. It is an introspective journey, an exploration of nothingness that, ironically, is full of meaning.
