P-Ben drops a tribal techno EP via Loose Records, which combines dystopian atmosphere and raw percussion.

Based in the south of France, P-Ben is a veteran techno producer who has been making techno since the '90s, and has featured on record labels such as A.Paul's Naked Lunch, Florian Meindl's FLASH, and Planet Rhythm.

Not only a respected producer, P-Ben is also an accomplished DJ who has played alongside other artists ranging from Mark Broom to The Advent.

Loose Records is the sister label to Unrilis, and this is the imprint's first release since 2021 after COVID forced the label to pause. Loose returns with a new concept, which focuses on underground music that differs from the trademark style of Unrilis.

'Percussion' is first of the three tracks on this release, and it combines gliding synths with flowing congas to create a hypnotic groove with driving energy.

'Dracaena' is another percussive track that layers dramatic synth stabs with atmospheric vocal textures, while the drums provide a heads-down energy that is perfect for the dance floor.

'Drum Designer' follows the same formula as the two previous tracks, and closes the release with a compelling groove that is deep and full of energy.
