Devoted- Fundamentals EP

On this release, Fundamentals Devoted relentlessly explores with various sounds in effort to showcase his musical ability and yet stay relevant to the dance floor. Fundamentals has become a phenomenon in the South African dance scene and is on high rotation at parties. Furthermore, the song also earned its own dance move in Mamelodi, Pretoria, South Africa with local DJs like Dj Boere being known as the main players of the song.

Devoted African Child AKA Sakhile Devoted (Music Producer, Dj & instrumentalist) began exploring with music informally in the early 2000s by playing a flute and then he later moved on to the keyboard in the mid-2000s. During the same period, a curiosity about editing a well-known song led him to try out the process of music production and the rest was history.
From there on, he dedicated long hours in his home studio exploring the various genres of music, more especially upbeat house-music. His hobby developed into a passion as the support from friends and music lovers in general began to be noteworthy. He then started distributing his music through DJs to play at parties in SA and his talent caught the attention of the masses. In 2011 he released his debut vocal song Soul on fire feat. Kholi which became an underground success internationally. In 2012 he worked on further international projects to further expand his musical flair. This year (2013) he collaborated with the talented US-based talented vocalist Mmelashon on a song titled More Than and also released a follow-up single with Tribe Records UK in July 2013 titled Ngibizwa featuring yet again the talented singer/songwriter Kholi Twala on vocals.
