Saqib presents BOT 017, 'Karachi Rolling', a frenetic high energy stomper of an EP... in the very unique style one can only describe as his own. With elements of indie dance, electronica, hip-hop, rock + roll, and the sounds of Pakistan coming through - we have a very unique EP to present here.
Karachi Rolling is a song that is written from the eyes of a passenger in the back of a rickshaw riding around the city of Karachi, weaving in and out of alleys ( 'gullies'), swerving past cars, and narrated by a rickshaw driver who is quite a character. The track features Saqib on vocals. The language is a combination of Urdu, Hindi and English, also known as 'hinglish'.
Exist to Resist is a high energy track about resisting the forces that control us in this world. With a rolling bassline, guitars and big swinging drums we ride off into the sunset, back to the days of rock + roll.
