TchaKalla is an electronic-organic music project based in Sintra, Portugal, by Kula Lisboa,
Ricardo Passos and Eyal Siri, musicians and producers with an eclectic musical background and experience.
The three intend to spark the listener´s awareness of the shared individual and collective view through a transformative journey of rhythms and sounds infused by ancestral knowledge and contemporary reality.
The project explores the connection between the ever-evolving technological musical innovation and the archetypal practices of the forgotten shamanic cultures of the world.
Using multi-ethnical instruments and percussions, rhythm and groove machines, synthesizers and vocal guidance, ranging from downtempo to tribal and dance music, TchaKalla creates a soundscape for conscious body activation, dynamic meditation, movement and dance.
With their unique blend of origins from the African diaspora, Central and Southern America, Asia and the Middle East, the group brings a tailored story of human evolution emerging from the deep connection of the ancient and the new.
Written and produced by Kula Lisboa,
