Hailing the fifth release on his Bohemian Disco label, UK producer / DJ Jason Herd collaborates with San Francisco talent, Nightlab, and iconic house diva, Kathy Brown, together unleashing pure dance floor heat with ‘Win Your Love’. Kathy belts out one of her signature heartfelt power-vocals over a big room house soundtrack, garnished with catchy 90’s style key stabs, piano hooks and a dramatic breakdown. The package also features an uplifting discofied mix, as Jason injects soulful beats, vibrant brass and sweeping strings, bringing some soulful glam and sparkle to the party.
Jason Herd has gained worldwide acclaim with his uplifting house productions on top labels such as on Defected, Subliminal Azuli, Toolroom, Moody and CR2, among others. He’s performed at Global Gathering, Creamfields, Space Ibiza, Pacha Ibiza, Amnesia Ibiza, Space, Toolroom Knights and more. Originally hailing from South Carolina, Kathy Brown originally found fame as the chart-topping lead singer of the group Praxis before having US dance hits on her own. In 1999 she climbed to #4 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart with "Joy" and in 2004 was the credited lead vocalist on the British act Soul Central's "Strings Of Life (Stronger On My Own)", a track that samples Rhythm Is Rhythm's 1989 House classic. Over the years she featured on dozens of house and club singles and has become one of the best-loved voices of house ever to have graced the scene.
San Francisco based House producer and DJ Nightlab (aka Marcus Kennedy), has previously collaborated with Roger Sanchez and Kathy Brown and DJ’s at Halcyon SF. His productions and remixes have graced labels such as Whore House Recordings, Talk Of The Town, Blanc Stone Lumiere, Automation Nation and more.
