Pounces is a Caribbean-born Denver-based DJ/Producer and 1/3 of the Haus Catz crew. His new solo EP titled 'Morphing' on YUNG DUMB comes equipped with 4 tracks of house tinged breaks and floor-ready bass oddities, touting vocal chops, clubby percussion and wobbly synths that borrow from all corners of the dance music realm. While diverse inspiration is clear, 'Morphing' maintains an anomalous and unique originality the whole way through.
