"We bring the best..!" - that's one of the slogans, which Low Flow Records is stuck to, and with each and every release we prove this to our dear fans and followers.
This time we are happy and proud to introduce you the brand new creation by the imprint's co-owner in the name of Garry Mkrtchyan a.k.a Fabien Kamb.
After quite a long period of silence on the label (in terms of the original material), Fabien brings on the mini-LP, entitled "Things That Matter". It's a 4-tracker where one can clearly watch Fabien's individual evolution as a deep house artist: if back in 2008 and 2010 he always took the listener to more "technoesque" territories, this time we face a very original fusion of lush and lazy grooves, which however resemble his very initial works on Body Rhythm Black and as well as a vivid influence of the roots, such as jazz and soul.
Each track is a tiny story with its own life: "Lady Day" is a classic deep house laid-back piece, with beautiful keys and harmonies, accurately layered with the gentle synth lines and vintage sample cuts. As for "Miles Ahead" and "Luv U" - these are the necessary lazy nodders, full of sophisticated synthetic textures and UK Garage-inherited percussion and some old skool bass-lines. Eventually "Dream On" is closing the package, spreading around the unbelievably beautiful and magnificent atmosphere with its powerful pads and intellectual noise inclusion, which literally pushes the listener deep into the eternal embraces of their own subconsciousness and dreams.
"Things That Matter" by Fabien Kamb is definitely a must-have recording for anybody, who's claiming to be a deep house enthusiast or an expert.
So you know where's the best flow...
