E-HRZN Records is excited to announce that Michael Ius will be cooking up the label’s next release, with the “Ohh, Really EP,” including remixes by B. Riley, Carlo Vento, Kevin Ferhati, and PS11.
The main course features four original tracks by Michael, each of which display his brilliant, unique, and diverse skillset as a “Chef of Beats.” The title track and “Let’s Go” both feature fast-paced, uplifting grooves which are effortlessly grilled with swing-filled beats to set the banquet on fire. Meanwhile, “Tongue” and “Machu Picchu” take a slightly different approach in which a savory entrée of hypnotic synths and melodies are unfolded alongside pulsating beats and bass lines.
Each of the four hand-selected remixers leave their own unique imprint on the short album, resulting in a delicacy of reworks that are simultaneously distinct and cohesive.
