Brukonics (Tom Funk & Don Pascal ) was born out of the desire to fuse their love of Jazz and future beats and bass. Combining the organic and electronic sounds of both genres.
It features some tracks leaning on the bass/club culture, some more on the jazz side, and two vocal tracks ('Changing Times' and 'Together') featuring the great Colonel Red on the soulful side of things, with a reflection on the past and present and the fundamental changes of paradigm of our times. 'Listen' and 'U Got Me' takes us into the underground club culture sounds. 'We'll Get There' and 'Brukonomics' combine Jazz musicality with solid bruk beats, 'Together Reprise' and its dub version take us in a minimal soulful direction fusing elements of Bruk, Deep house and classic organ jazziness.
Sax on Changing Times : Oli Arlotto
